Jayson Metcalf's Bio
Jayson Metcalf is a 15-years-old sophomore at Plymouth High School. He has been enrolled in the traditional based learning curriculum ever since kindergarten. He is extremely excited to be part of the PHS entrepreneurship class and to learn about owning and managing a business. Upon graduation, Metcalf hopes to attend Indiana University and earn a bachelor's degree in the field of business. Throughout his high school journey thus far, he has mastered software applications such as Pages, Notes, iMovie, Photo Booth, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides. Metcalf has learned much of his technical knowledge from his father who specializes in the technology field. From repairing and reimaging laptops to helping with software issues he has seen it all.
Last year Metcalf was part of the PHS yearbook staff. He hopes to be involved in extracurricular activities this year but is contemplating his options. In his spare time, Metcalf enjoys photography and is always willing to volunteer his time for activities whenever possible. In 8th grade, Metcalf was inducted as a National Junior Honors Society member. He received a science, excellence in pre-algebra, and responsibility award during his 8th-grade year as well. Alongside these awards, Metcalf is one of two student recipients to receive an industrial technology award. |
