Xandra Kurtz's Bio
Xandra Kurtz is a junior at PHS and a 5th semester student in the PTV at PHS Radio TV program, as well as a returning 2nd semester student in Marketing. During the fall semester in the program last year Kurtz became the lead director for the #PTVatPHS news show. When she wasn’t calling the shots in the control room she was in front of the camera as a lead anchor or segment reporter. Kurtz was chosen to attend three Notre Dame football games working as a photographer for PTV Sports documenting the game through the lens on the sidelines. Outside of PTV, she is just as productive at Plymouth High School. Kurtz founded the club Finding Light last year and works with PHS counselors to bring awareness to mental health and suicide prevention. She was a member of the Pride of Plymouth marching band for two consecutive years. Kurtz’s hobbies outside of school consist of photography, writing and spending time with family and friends. Although she is only a junior this year she is set to graduate at the end of this school year. After graduation, Kurtz will be attending Vincennes University for her degree in communications.
