Bohanon Meadors - Career Marketing - Semester 1 & 2
Bohanon “Bo” Meadors is currently a junior at the Weidner School of Inquiry @ PHS. After graduation next year, he plans on attending either Purdue University or Indiana State University where he will study aviation.
At Plymouth High School, Meadors has served as a member of the PHS Key Club for the past three years; he currently has logged more than 105 volunteer hours over the past two years. He also serves as a Lieutenant Governor for Indiana Key Club in the Explorer District, which covers Elkhart Memorial, Elkhart Central, Concord, and Penn High Schools. Also for two years, he has been involved with the PHS Business Professionals of America Club. He is a proud three-year member of Future Teachers of America and this year he will serve as an Officer at Large.
At Plymouth High School, Meadors is the PHS Design Editor for the school’s newspaper, Ye Pilgrim and he is also a member of the PHS junior class student council. For two years he studied Chinese, and outside of school for the past five years, he has been an active member of the Plymouth Wesleyan Student Ministries.
During his freshman year, Meadors was a varsity athlete at Plymouth High School active in track and wrestling and played junior varsity tennis. During his sophomore year, he maintained his varsity status while on the tennis and track teams. This year he will continue to run varsity on both the PHS track and cross country teams.
During the 2018 summer, he attended the High School Journalism Institute at Indiana University. At this five-day camp, he attended a design workshop where he was introduced to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign. He plans to work a lot with Indesign this year for his designs. During the 2018 fall, Meadors attended a weekend experiential leadership program called Key Leader. The event focused on service leadership as the first, most meaningful leadership-development experience.
Meadors is apart of a family of nine; he has two older sisters, two younger brothers, and two younger sisters. During his free time, Meadors loves to run and watch movies. He has been employed at Lifeplex Fitness Forum for over one year, where he works the rockwall and concessions.
